Thank you to members for visiting this morning. Mettler sales rep Ivy Moya demonstrated the benefits of sewing knits with one of Mettler’s most popular threads Seraflex. No need for a zig zag stitch! We hope all were inspired to try a tee, hoody or even swim as summer ramps up. We enjoyed hosting and meeting you all!

So honored to partner with to provide the fabric for a design competition that honors Halston’s legacy and that culminated in the Bloom Fashion Show today in Union Square. Ten students from came into our store in March and made our deadstock fabric look its best with paint, dyes, and serious tailoring techniques. Love seeing fashion design in SF and can’t wait to see what these talented designers do next. Can you guess the winner?

Ever wondered what local deadstock looks like at Fabrix? It can be a 15-foot U-Haul truck packed with over a decade's worth of fabric from an East Bay cut and sew shop, or a half carload of luxury home fabrics from a San Francisco designer workroom. Either way, it means unique fabrics at unbeatable prices. We picked up both loads this week and are bringing as much as possible in-store.

New arrival: 100% linen fabrics in stripes, solids, and prints. All LA deadstock, $14.99/yd.

Flowy linen-look rayon. One flowery print in 4 color ways + a subtler design.
Perfect for recent weather in an airy dress, skirt, or wide-legged pants.
Nice for a flowy blouse over the new light-weight, colorful linens we’ve brought in.
