Found at a thrift store in Leland, NC.
I walked away from this several times, but kept going back to it. I couldn’t stop thinking about the person who collected all of these matchbooks, leaving a road map of what appears to be a very fun life in this jar.
There’s old books and newer books, but all are very cool. Someone needed to appreciate this collection and I’m so glad I get to be that person 🧡

My partner found this absolutely incredible steamer trunk sitting on the curb today, and after HOURS of going back and forth on whether or not to get it we finally did. We brought it home in the dark, and were surprised to see how gorgeous it is in the light. It’s in really rough shape, but it’s got a Corbin lock from 1885, and stickers from central Illinois railroad station number 189 (they’re so faded I can’t get a picture that’s legible). Does anyone have any info on this? Any links or if/how to restore this beautiful piece of history without destroying the stickers and art? I love it to death, but it’s in pretty bad structural and cosmetic shape. It’s wood with leather on it, and metal accents and brackets. Thanks in advance!!

Found this massive couch and ottoman at the consignment shop I have a booth in. I believe she said it’s 18 feet.
