Hoogasian Flower has been giving away Sunflowers (Ukraine's National Flower) all year. We got an immense stash of them a couple of years ago. Recently, a couple identified themselves as Ukrainian and were touched by our sentiments that each sunflower represents our prayer for peace. The gentleman of the couple took out a Ukrainian banknote and said it had been their touchstone for a hoped for return to Ukraine. He gave it to us!

Victor Levy passed away this morning at the age of 93 in his home in Lakewood, California. Victor was President of FTD in 1980. A huge figure in the floral industry.
