Introducing "A Dream", acrylic on canvas, 16x20". You may have seen it on my postcards. This piece is about dreaming big. Often we get stuck in our dense material reality, and it makes big dreams feel distant and unrealistic. But if we lighten up and give ourselves some breathing room, reaching them becomes possible.

SF Open Studios, Weekend 2, is coming! Oct 3-4, 11am-5pm.

Last night’s ArtLaunch at SOMArts was wonderful, so much great art on the walls and so many artists I know to catch up with.

My piece “Opening” is part of the SF Open Studios group Exhibition, on view September 19-27 (1-7PM daily) at SOMArts.

The Art Explosion Fall Open Studios are over. It was great to see everyone who came by and talk to visitors about art, but what meant the most to me was meeting and connecting with so many great artists at our art space. It was a special joy to share the weekend and the space with my neighbor Raymond Difley and his family. Plus, I was fortunate enough to acquire one of his beautiful artworks. This is the second original art piece I’ve bought. I can officially call myself an art collector, and it feels very empowering. 🤩

Today was the first day of my lease on the art studio space at on 17th st in San Francisco.🤩 It’s just a small corner in a large studio space but it’s a huge step for me - to move my art practice from my bedroom to a real art environment.

Now I need to buy a solid wooden easel, a small work desk, large canvases, and buckets of paints. If you know anyone selling a good easel, please ping me.

I am excited to make larger art, to meet new artist friends, to feel like a part of an art community. They have their own Open Studios coming up in less than a month and I’m planning to be a part of the event. So stay tuned 💖

Excited to share that I’m now a member of San Francisco Women Artists gallery ＳＦＷＡＡＲＴＩＳＴＧＡＬＬＥＲＹ! 😀 Today I visited the opening of their Abstract August show, and it did not disappoint. So much talent in one room! On view until September 4.

Grateful to be joining this welcoming community and looking forward to what’s ahead.
