We believe even the most utilitarian rooms deserve to sing — this mudroom included. 💗
When our client said “paint the custom cabinets Rani pink,” we didn’t blink. We doubled down: lotus wallpaper lightly outlined in pink, a cubby for every member of the family, and a custom sisal runner to tie it all together.
This is the first room these homeowners see every single day — it should feel like them: fun, daring, and a little unexpected.

Every project starts with how our clients actually live — and for this primary bath, that meant bringing their favorite place in the world home with them. ✨

The brief: A large walk-in shower on one side, a sauna on the other. Our clients’ favorite place to travel is Turkey, so they asked for the feel of a Turkish bathhouse — complete with an Iznik tile mural. Plenty of storage, and their motto for this room? There’s no such thing as too much marble.
Getting there: We collaborated closely with our architect Maria Anderson and . Even after the final plan was drawn and framed out, we created a 3D SketchUp model to map exactly how the marble cuts would connect, plus a full plywood mock-up of the archway. The tile layout was meticulous — to get the grout lines and walls to align perfectly, our incredible contractor trimmed 1/8” off every single ceiling tile.

I could go on, but here’s what matters: hard work, true collaboration, and clients who couldn’t be happier. ❤️

I’ll be there selling pillows — though honestly, the pillows are just my excuse to get out into the community, connect with neighbors, and soak in the best people-watching of the season. Grab a doughnut, sip some coffee, and maybe take home a pillow or two. Hope to see you there!

We don’t walk past an awkward corner — we ask what it wants to be. Our architect saw the potential hiding in an overlooked closet, and from there we designed every inch with intention: a custom bookcase, a window seat made for curling up, a reading lamp, and just enough surface for your cup of tea. Now it’s the most loved corner in the house — the kids claimed it, but the parents sneak in for Zoom calls too. This is what tailor-made design looks like: nothing wasted, everything considered.

Every one keeps saying your main feed should be all portfolio pictures but I’ll be honest it’s feeling a little boring to me.I’m going to start posting some more real photos and videos. This is my daughter playing in our kitchen. I did zero styling but caught her laughing and enjoying life which is the goal of great interiors. Our spaces should look beautiful even when they are not spotless! ❤️if you want to see more of this content. Not necessarily my kids but more real life interiors/behind the scenes.
