Powder blue plaster and anemones wrap this baby girls nursery in San Francisco that I designed back in 2020. In honor of her name we hid three lilies in one of the panels (can you find them on slide 3?). Designing kids rooms is the joy of my work because magic and dreaming is the goal and I’m so happy that all our current projects include kids bedrooms…can’t wait to share them in the coming years!

It’s that time of year where daily I close my eyes and wish I could transport myself to any warm beach. This Fiji house we built for our San Francisco based clients would do the job perfectly…. 📸 by Architecture by

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 🤎 As we navigate these challenging times I think of this verse often. Sending everyone love. Also, apparently I love designing blush and deep red rooms so in honor of this color coded holiday tomorrow please enjoy some of these rooms ♥️

My beautiful team. If I’m grateful for anything this past year it’s the support of this team and our extended team of craftspeople, artists, vendors, showrooms and project collaborators. I couldn’t do anything without you all. And for ALL the reasons, I’m forever grateful to my partner in everything 🤎

One week of Huckleberry heaven and we can’t imagine our lives without this sweet baby boy. Standing at an adorable 24” tall (and growing by the second!), this six week old Scottish Highland cow has stolen our hearts. He’s a perfect baby - he eats, poops, plays and naps on repeat. He’s happy, curious and already counts Quinn and Grey as his BFFs for life. His favorite activity is napping on Quinn’s lap while she sings Christmas carols to him. Life is very sweet with this fluffy little guy 🤎

This tiny tack room’s design evolved in such an organic way and showcases a handful of treasures I’ve collected over the years. A standout element is the gorgeous plaster walls - it’s a brand new collection from by and this hue is called “Oil”. It’s a perfect deep green and mirrors the mossy ancient oak trees just beyond these walls. I love it and can’t wait to use more of this very special color collection for upcoming projects! Each bridle hangs below cowboy tiles which simply put, I will cherish forever. Last year, I was in their NYC showroom and mentioned wistfully that it was a dream to one day own some of these special tiles - tiles that “depicted” each member of my family. The next day I received an email saying I could come back and choose four tiles…I could not have hailed a cab fast enough! They are hanging here now but once we remodel our kitchen they will most definitely move into that forever home. The bridle hooks are from . Glowing overhead is a vintage pendant from (two more preside over each horse stall). A saddle from my Jr Hunter days hangs in front of an 18th century blanket chest from and the limestone herringbone floors from .and.co are remnants from our entry flooring. We didn’t have enough to cover the whole floor so I edged it in leftover planks of wood. This material constraint made the design result so much more charming! The verdure tapestry was a steal on ! My girls and I visit this tack room daily and this is a great example of how putting a little effort into the most unexpected places enhances the daily experience of using it. I feel transported and so happy every time I unlatch the door and walk in.
