Antes que se acabe Julio, Felices Fiestas Patrias 🇵🇪🥳!
During these past weeks, I felt an energy that I haven’t felt in a while. It felt like I could have a bit of my two worlds in one place (my peruvian culture and my US community).
First, I was finally able to attend events in the South Bay. My heart was thriving with happiness being able to go to a local library and dance/play Peruvian music with my little one.
Second, I started ceramics lessons again at South Bay Ceramics and I found out I still love it. It’s amazing to make things using your hands 👩🏽🎨
Third, my fam and I attended Peru Fest hosted by Puerto 27 and we had a blast 🎉. It had a little bit of everything (paneton, anticuchos, live salsa music, drinks and alfajores). We also enjoyed Payasita Daisy’s show, she was so fun, creative and my little one was amazed watching her bubbles and balloons.
Gracias mes de Julio por traer tantos eventos a mi vida, por recordarme que la comunidad Peruana es unida y aunque sea pequeña todavia existe cuando la buscas.
Espero que todos hayan pasado unas bonitas Felices Fiestas Patrias, aqui, en Peru y en cualquier parte del mundo 🇵🇪🌎
