Art isn’t just decor — it’s a story, a statement, a feeling.

The San Francisco Fall Art & Antiques Show was an inspiring reminder of why I’m so drawn to art and its transformative power in design. From contemporary pieces that challenge the eye to timeless classics that ground a space, I believe a well-chosen piece of art can breathe life into any home.

For me, it’s about being versatile — understanding how different styles, periods, and movements can coexist harmoniously in a space. Whether it’s supporting local artists, exploring bold, modern designs, or pulling from history, my approach is always evolving to stay at the forefront of art and interiors.

Also, can we talk about this wallpaper? It’s a perfect reminder of how art isn’t confined to a frame — it can extend to the walls, the furnishings, and beyond.

Which piece caught your eye the most? Or are you more into bold patterns like this wallpaper? Let me know in the comments — I’d love to hear your thoughts.

No personality – no fun!

Let me ask you this: are you really okay living in a space that looks like it could belong to literally anybody — or worse, nobody? The kind of space that might as well be a Holiday Inn hotel room? Because I’m not.

You don’t need to love bold colors or wild patterns (like I do) to have a home with an actual personality. The problem with new builds and rentals is that they’re all designed to be “safe” — neutral everything to attract the masses. And guess what? That usually backfires and makes them dull, faceless, and barely appealing to anyone.

Here’s the good news: you don’t need to gut-renovate or spend a fortune to make your space feel like home. Small, simple changes can make a huge difference.

✨ Here are a few of my go-to tips to give your space some soul: ✨

🌟 Add window treatments — seriously, even the simplest ones can elevate a room.

🌟 Swap out those flat, boring pillows for something with texture and personality.

🌟 Hang some art. And please, not from Crate & Barrel (we can do better). There are so many affordable artists out there — DM me if you need ideas!

🌟 Try a peel-and-stick wallpaper for a statement wall that’s low commitment but high impact.

🌟 Style your bookshelves with actual books. Not just random trinkets — books add warmth, depth, and hey, maybe you’ll actually feel inspired to read one.

🌟 Bring in some greenery! Real plants, please. You can’t convince me that fake ones have the same vibe.

🌟 Change your lighting. Swap out those basic builder-grade fixtures for something with character.

Your space doesn’t have to be a blank slate. Make it yours. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about making it feel like you.

What’s the one thing you’ve done to personalize your space? Or which of these are you trying next? Tell me — I want to know!

The way I work: more than what meets the eye.

Some people think designing a space is just about choosing the right colors or finding that one standout piece. But for me, it’s so much deeper than that. It’s about respect — for the space, for quality, and most importantly, for my client’s trust.

When I’m working on a project, I focus on every single detail. Whether it’s selecting fabric that feels just right, sourcing materials that hold up to family life, or finding the perfect piece to make the room feel personal — I don’t stop until it meets my standards. Sure, this may mean I take a little longer, but I’d rather take my time than compromise on quality. Ever.

It’s not just about a beautiful end result. It’s about knowing that every choice, down to the smallest finish, has been carefully considered with intention and care.

If you’re someone who believes that quality matters just as much as style, share this with a friend who’d agree — and DM me if you’re ready to start a project that values both.
