In Cole Valley, an Arts & Crafts home reimagined.

We restored the integrity of its original character through millwork and thoughtful re-upholstery—quietly elevating the craftsmanship at every turn. Layered throughout, the clients’ eclectic art collection brings an edge and individuality.

With one of the homeowners an artist themselves.
A modern one, so pairing modern art with historical home is always a juxtaposition we love to play with.

Photo day at one of our beloved Sea Ranch projects. The homeowners have been incredibly gracious and open throughout the process, with a genuine appreciation for the design profession.

We’re excited to share this little gem with you soon.

A big thank you to the amazing team who made the weekend possible—photographer and his fantastic assistant Tim, my dear friend Julie for her styling expertise, and my son, who officially joined the family business and assisted on his third shoot.

A sneak peek into a project currently in the works — where the rich heritage of Mexico meets the timeless charm of San Francisco row house architecture.

Layered textures, warm tones, and historic details are coming together in a way that feels both rooted and refreshed.

We’re excited to share more as this vision continues to unfold.

Behind the scenes of building a fireplace from a few of our projects.

A substantial amount of consideration goes into the design, specifications, intricate details, code considerations, and ultimately, the construction.

For instance, observe the discreet opening at the top of several of these fireplaces. This serves as the vent, eliminating the need for an unsightly grille on the side. Good design frequently involves the careful planning of elements that remain unseen.

In the end, our clients get to enjoy one of life's great pleasures, the warmth of fire.

A few pics of our site photos of fireplaces we have designed over the years. Each one with it own function, non-combustible material surround, and the challenge of making the venting “go away”.
End the end a place for us humans to gather around the warmth. It’s what us humans do.

From stud to style.
