Founded in 2002 by Owner and Principal Designer, Holly Hollenbeck, HSH Interiors is a full-service Interior Design firm located in Marin County, serving all of San Francisco. With services ranging from color consultations and room designs, to complete project management, Holly and her team infuse each individual space with the personal aesthetic of the client; drawing from the belief that one's home is truly an extension of self and should reflect the owner's own unique, individual style. From brown to blue and a completely different mood.

For the Trinity Project, the transformation wasn’t about starting over. It was about rethinking the relationship between colour, texture and light.

Warm oak brings depth, cool blue adds a fresh point of view, and natural textures keep the palette feeling grounded and inviting. The result is a space that feels lighter, more layered, and distinctly its own.

Because sometimes, a home doesn’t need a total reinvention.

It just needs a new perspective.

Let’s retire a few design rules…

Everything doesn’t need to match. Luxury isn’t about covering every surface in expensive materials. Neutrals can have plenty of personality. And a Tahoe home? It doesn’t have to look like a log cabin.

At HSH, we’re more interested in the why behind a space than following a rulebook. The best interiors balance contrast, character, materiality and, most importantly, the people who live in them.

Because good design isn’t about following the rules.

A study in warm wood, quiet contrast, and everyday ease.

For this Martis Camp kitchen, we paired crisp, streamlined cabinetry with oak millwork and marble-look quartz to bring warmth and brightness into one of the hardest-working rooms in the home.

The linear wood ceiling, fluted oak cabinetry and sculptural pendants add just enough texture to keep the palette from feeling too pristine, creating a kitchen that feels polished, but still very much meant to be lived in.

Tahoe living, softened.

A primary bath should feel like a place to pause.

For this Woodside home, we wanted to create a space that feels calm from the moment you walk in.

A sculptural marble soaking tub anchors the room, while soft natural light, polished nickel fixtures, and thoughtfully layered textures bring warmth to an otherwise quiet palette.

Open shelving keeps everyday essentials within reach without sacrificing a sense of order, and every material was selected to age beautifully over time.

Nothing here is overly precious, just timeless, functional, and designed to support the rituals that begin and end each day.

We believe the most luxurious spaces aren't necessarily the most elaborate.They're the ones that make slowing down feel effortless.

Why blue in a Tahoe kitchen? 💙

For this kitchen, we wanted a color that brought personality without competing with the natural surroundings. The French-blue cabinetry adds just the right amount of depth, while the warm oak and soft tile tones keep the space feeling grounded and inviting.

Paired with the views outside, the blue feels unexpected but completely at home, a reminder that the right color can connect an interior to its landscape.

A kitchen should do more than function well, it should feel like a natural extension of the home.

For the Kentfield Kitchen, we focused on creating a space that feels grounded, welcoming, and timeless. Rich charcoal cabinetry brings depth, while warm brass accents soften the palette and add just the right amount of warmth. Large windows frame the surrounding landscape, allowing natural light and the changing seasons to become part of the experience.

One of the things we love most about this kitchen is its balance. It's refined without feeling formal, modern without chasing trends, and designed to support the rhythms of everyday life.

Whether it's preparing a quiet morning coffee, gathering around the island with family, or entertaining friends, every detail was considered with longevity and livability in mind.
