Regionally recognized by National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), this primary bathroom renovation was honored with a Gold Award—an achievement that reflects both thoughtful design and exceptional collaboration. Sharing this recognition with one of my industry partners - .tile, and seeing my client genuinely delighted with the outcome, makes the accomplishment especially meaningful.

A closer look at the material palette reveals the foundation of the design. The flooring features a 12" x 24" Revesta Calacatta Vintage Satin porcelain tile, sourced from Italy, offering a refined marble-inspired aesthetic with a soft, luminous finish. Complementing this, the vertical surfaces are clad in Osaka Maple 24" x 48" porcelain tile from Spain, introducing warmth and subtle texture that balances the overall composition. I love doing what I do!

Before I select a single material or draw a single line, I ask three questions. Those answers shape every decision that follows.

Because good design isn’t about trends or pretty finishes—it’s about creating a space that actually serves your life.

One of the most important aspects of the design process is ensuring clients feel confident and informed at every stage.

It comes down to clear communication, hands-on material selections, and experiencing finishes within the context of your actual space before anything is installed. That level of intention helps the process feel seamless—and ensures the final result feels both cohesive and right for the home.

This is what stepping into a project mid-renovation often looks like—taking the time to assess what’s already been completed, understand what’s working, and identify where adjustments may be needed.

These conversations are where true alignment happens: walking the space, evaluating decisions in real time, and ensuring every next step is intentional, elevated, and supports how the home will ultimately be lived in and experienced.

One of the primary goals of this bathroom remodel was to thoughtfully reconfigure the layout to accommodate a two-person freestanding tub while also expanding the shower footprint for a more spacious, elevated experience.

Spatial planning and awareness are always fundamental to good design—how a space functions, flows, and feels is just as important as its aesthetic.

Before we ever step into a showroom, we start by shaping the vision. This phase is all about defining the feeling, refining the palette, and setting a clear direction for the entire space. Every material we choose later has to align with—and elevate—that bigger picture.

For ’s laundry room, we’re leaning into a mood that feels warm, refined, and just a touch moody—layering natural textures with a few bold, intentional moments to create something that’s both functional and beautifully considered.

Emotional resonance in a space emerges from the interplay between sensory experience and psychological comfort. The mind intuitively responds to elements such as layout, lighting, and a sense of familiarity. When a space is thoughtfully planned and intuitively organized, it minimizes cognitive load, allowing occupants to move effortlessly—resulting in a calmer, more restorative environment.
