Diana, the Operation Sock Monkey operative in Toronto is no longer facilitating workshops. I am using up the supplies and creating cuddly creatures to give away. If you know a special child who is in need of monkey love to raise their spirits, please DM me. I've enjoyed years of sharing the skills and fun of creating our cuddly creatures and distributing them. I have fond memories of teaching women in India and Nepal, personally giving them to children there and in Costa Rica and sending them to South Africa, Madagascar .....as well as distributing them to Syrian children in Canada. I thank Lindsey for this wonderful opportunity.

5 years ago, in Toronto, 100 children new to Canada from Syria were given a sock monkey welcome gift, a sock monkey workshop was held, funds were donated and operative Diana volunteered with Culture Link to help the settlement process.
