Batik isn’t just a piece of fabric. Batik is an art form that carries our culture, history, heritage, community, and the legacy of our ancestors. Through batik, our communities come BERSAMA (Together).

Thank you so much for having us at this special event to celebrate our shared heritage together.

The inspiration behind this community joint painting comes from the national flowers of Malaysia 🇲🇾 (hibiscus), Singapore 🇸🇬(orchid), and Indonesia 🇮🇩(jasmine), together with the California poppy and butterflies representing the Bay Area, symbolizing our communities coming together to celebrate our shared heritage here in California.
