My brain before entering the studio.. (and why it takes me a year to fill my kiln).
Today I’ll use texture tools, but let some dry smooth for carving.. I want some pieces to have underglaze -and- glaze. Don’t forget about underglaze transfers. I want to use underglaze -and- wax resist. Don’t forget about vinyl stickers. I want to use b-mix w/ specks and specked Buff. But also Amaco dark chocolate and New Mexico chocolate. I want to glaze with Coyote, Spectrum, Amaco and Laguna… but not before making 100 test tiles… (or bud vases in my case). 🤦🏼‍♀️🙃🏺anyone else?

Full studio day for Yunomi yesterday!🏺💌 Bud vases, new wax resist projects coming.. random studio shots, and rehydrated some Speckled Buff that got away from me. It’s a lot easier (for me) to slice up a 25lb block into four. Portion them into gallon Ziplocks, pour 1/4 cup water in each bag. Submerge them in water, seal ‘em up and in 24 hrs, boom, moist clay again. ✨
