“Will I still like this in ten years?” is a question I hear from clients all the time when considering design selections. A bold paint color, a patterned tile, or an investment piece of furniture may feel exciting now, but will it stand the test of time? My answer may be a little different from what you expect.

I don’t believe “timeless” is a design style. I don’t believe it comes down to one particular color palette, furniture style, or list of design rules. Our tastes evolve and our lives change, so creating a home you’ll love for years to come is less about trying to avoid anything that might someday feel dated and more about designing a space that genuinely reflects you.

In our latest blog, I’m sharing a different perspective on timeless interior design, including how to approach trends, color, quality, and the pieces you invest in while creating a home that has room to evolve with you. Click the link in our story to read the full blog.

A vacation home gives you the opportunity to step away from the routines of everyday life, and the interior should support that feeling. Rather than treating a second home as an afterthought, thoughtful design can create a space that reflects not only where you are, but how you want to feel while you’re there.

In our latest blog, we’re sharing why interior design should be a priority in your Napa vacation home, from exploring a different side of your personal style to creating a home that captures the W**e Country lifestyle without feeling overly themed. Click the link in our story to read the full blog.

Starting an interior design project is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you’re furnishing a new home, updating a well-loved space, or planning a renovation, it’s easy to get stuck wondering where to begin. That’s why having a clear, thoughtful process is just as important as the design itself.

At Revelry Interior Design, we believe creating a beautiful home should feel collaborative, organized, and enjoyable from start to finish. In our latest blog, I’m sharing what our design process looks like, from the first conversation to the final installation, and how each step helps create a home that feels refined, personal, and perfectly suited to W**e Country living. Open concept kitchen, dining, and living spaces create connection, flexibility, and a sense of openness that works beautifully for both entertaining and everyday routines. So it’s no surprise that great rooms have become a defining feature in many W**e Country homes.

But while great rooms are designed to bring people together, they also need to support a wide range of everyday activities all within one connected space. Without intentional planning, these spaces can quickly start to feel visually chaotic or difficult to keep functional for a busy family.

Designing a home in California W**e Country goes beyond how it looks. It’s about how it feels to live in it every day. The best spaces feel welcoming, comfortable, and naturally aligned with your lifestyle.

There’s a common assumption that luxury interiors need to feel formal or untouchable. But at Revelry, luxury takes on a different tone. It’s quieter. More grounded. More connected to real life. Our approach is always to create spaces that feel refined without feeling rigid—homes that are functional, inviting, and easy to live in. This is what I often refer to as laidback luxury: spaces that feel as good as they look.
