Good morning from Lynchburg. It’s Bash Day at The Jack and the Lifespace booth is fully up. Kamado, portable grills, potjie on the tripod, knives on the table, and Emma holding it down. Full activation today, so come by while we’re set. Tomorrow may get scaled back if the rain shows up.

Last day at The Jack and it’s a wet one in Lynchburg.
We’ve got the knives out, the Pitmaster Prep Station is ready, and two sides of the tent are open so it’s actually pretty cozy in here. Started the morning with an awesome breakfast with Sweet Swine O' Mine with Mark Lambert, the guys set up next to us, can’t complain about that.
Rain or shine, we’re still here. When the going gets tough, the tough get going… even if the tough are standing under a canopy trying not to get dripped on. 😂

The Jack is wet, muddy, and still going strong.
Walked around a bit and the place is full of people in rain gear standing under tents, talking, eating, and just being around each other. Yoders, Monument, B&B, Faith & Fires, Follow the Flavor… everyone is still set up and cooking.
That’s what I love about this world. BBQ has never really been about perfect conditions. It’s about gathering. And gather they will; rain or shine.
Not even this weather is killing the spirit out here.
If you’re at The Jack today, stay dry when you can and enjoy the people. That’s the real event.

What’s up, guys. We’ve landed in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and we’re at The Jack.
Busy getting the tents up right by Moorehead Pavilion in Wiseman Park. We’re in a great spot. Jack Daniel’s tent is right in front of us, teams all around, and we’re right in the middle of the action. Emma’s hard at work in the back.
Come look for us. We’ve got knives, a couple of ceramic grills, a Kamado going up, and we’ll probably do a bit of a cook on the tripod. We’ve also got the selfie frame out. Come get a selfie from The Jack, tag us, share it, and you could win a prize.
