Just complete a seed library stand for Friends of Del Mar Mesa Garden Club. This will house seeds at the Carmel Valley Library.

I've been taking a break due to shoulder surgery but am finally getting back to it. Just completed making 50 jewelry stands for Salty Cali, a local Jewelery manufacturer. They provide the stands to their reseller customers.

This is more of a manufacturing job vs. the type of fine woodworking I usually do but was a fun project. I really enjoyed the opportunity to support a local business.

Completed some floating shelves for a customer. We wanted to ensure the wood and color complimented their new remodel so I met them at lumber store to pick out a solid maple board. I don't like any room for misunderstandings or disappointments so I prefer to do whatever it takes to make my customers happy.

I also do work for Kevin Deal at Kevin Deal Fine Woodworking. He's a good friend and an expert woodworker who focuses on furniture repair and restoration. He's an incredible woodworker and mentor to me.

Here are some pictures of a secretary desk restoration we worked on together. It was so fulfilling to take a really beat up piece of early 1900 furniture and restore it to beautiful condition.

The piece was in really bad condition and had been refinished poorly multiple times and among other things, even painted black in areas. We had to take all the parts apart, remove hardware, completely sand, stain and apply topcoats, purchase complimentary missing hardware and color it to match, and glue back broken and loose joints and parts.
