By that point, you’re no longer working on a blank piece. You’re working over something that already looks good… and that’s exactly what makes it stressful.

Adding a second or third wave means covering parts of the first layer, including cells you may have loved the first time around. One wrong move and suddenly you’re fixing instead of creating.

It’s also a make-or-break step. If the second wave goes wrong, it can mean ruining two full days of work. And unlike the first layer, cleanup isn’t as simple anymore. Fixing resin blobs or uneven areas could mean sanding everything back down.

But despite all that, the second wave is what gives larger pieces their depth, movement, and finished natural look.
It brings the whole piece to life and makes the difference mass produced and a higher-end resin art piece ✨
