It's 8 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 28 inches tall, with 15 inches of planting depth. Real cedar, so it holds up to Arizona sun and wet soil without rotting out in a season. Tall enough that you aren't bending to the ground to w**d.

I built this one here in the shop. Liner is +$45 and delivery is +$45 if you want them.

6 ft × 2 ft enclosure with redwood walls and a plywood floor. It's 16½" deep inside, on a built-in stand with the top edge at 37". Underneath there's a full-length storage shelf with about 11½" of clearance, room for substrate bins, food and supplies.

A tortoise habitat I'm working on this week.

The customer is 85 and doesn't want to bend over to reach in. So the floor sits 19 and a half inches off the ground and the rim is 37 inches. Redwood picket walls, plywood floor, 6 foot long.

Most builds start with the wood. This one started with the person who has to reach into it.

More than ten people bought our decorative wooden cross plan in the last four days.

It's a small project. Strips of 1-inch wood, ends mitered at 45 degrees, stacked into a layered cross. The plan gives you every cut length and an exploded view so you can see exactly how the pieces fit together.

Good first project. Good one to make a few of for gifts, too.

This is the inside of a cedar planter before any soil goes in.

The bottom boards are cedar too, not plywood. Cedar holds up to wet soil and Arizona heat without rotting out in a couple of seasons. It costs a little more.

Once the planter is full, nobody ever sees the bottom. That makes it the easiest place to cut corners. We don't.

Five feet long and three feet deep. Pine 2x4 frame with a 3/4-inch plywood top and a full lower shelf. It's built to hold over 5,000 pounds, so it works as a shop bench, a garage table, or a stand for a big aquarium or reptile enclosure.

Fresh off the build: an 8-foot cedar planter for a local customer. Two feet wide, 34.5 inches tall, and it sits right on the ground, so it's a waist-high garden with no bending over. Cedar inside and out, with corner posts and a center brace so the long walls stay straight once it's full of soil. Want one sized for your yard or patio?
