Future Shipping Manager in Training 📦❤️

One of the best parts of being a family business isn't the signs we make—it's the people we make them with.

Today, one of our youngest team members was hard at work stickering bags and helping get products ready for customers. She may not be running the CNC table just yet, but she's already learning that hard work, responsibility, and attention to detail matter.

Every bag got a sticker, every task got her full concentration, and she took her job very seriously. At Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art, every order comes with a little extra care—and sometimes that care comes from some very small hands.

We're pretty sure she's already got her sights set on becoming our future Shipping Manager.

Thank you to everyone who supports our family business on the Historic Cedar Street Bridge. When you shop local, you're helping create opportunities for moments like these.

❤️ Family. Faith. Hard Work. 🇺🇸

P.S. The Shipping Manager in Training currently accepts payment in fruit snacks, stickers, and the occasional cookie. Labor laws may require us to increase her compensation package soon. 😄

Sometimes the Best Helpers Come in Small Packages ❤️

We caught our daughter hard at work today making sure the signs were looking their best.

Now, we're not saying child labor is part of the business plan... but when a little girl grabs a duster and starts helping without being asked, it's pretty hard to stop her. 😊

One of the greatest blessings of a family business is that it's about more than making signs and metal art. It's about building something together, teaching a strong work ethic, making memories, and spending time with the people who matter most.

Years from now, she probably won't remember every sign on the wall, but we hope she'll remember the laughter, the conversations, and the days spent helping Mom and Dad at the shop.

And honestly, she might be doing a better job dusting than the rest of us.

We're thankful for family, thankful for small-town life, and thankful for all of you who support local businesses.

🚨 THE GREAT GARDEN GROWING SCANDAL OF NORTH IDAHO 🚨

It started with a tomato.

As most disasters do.

Virgil "Boat Ramp" Kowalski was standing in his garden bragging that his tomatoes were growing faster than anything ever recorded in Bonner County.

"Three inches overnight," he claimed.

Walter "Thermos" Grady took one look and said,

"Virgil, if your tomatoes grew three inches overnight, then my thermos contains the Fountain of Youth."

Virgil pointed at a tomato plant.

"Look at it!"

Walter pointed at the same plant.

"I am. It's still ugly."

That should have been the end of it.

It wasn't.

By the next morning, Virgil claimed his tomatoes were winning.

Walter claimed his cabbage was winning.

Virgil said Walter's cabbage looked like a flattened basketball.

Walter said Virgil's tomatoes looked emotionally confused.

Within three days they were measuring plants with tape measures, yardsticks, fishing rulers, and at one point Walter was accused of measuring from a rock instead of the ground.

Things got heated.

Aunt Maybelle was called in as an impartial judge.

She took one look and said,

"You're both too old to be acting this young."

That solved nothing.

Then somebody brought in one of these Bigfoot measuring stakes.

Suddenly everything became official.

Tomatoes?

Measured.

Cabbage?

Measured.

Onions?

Measured.

Walter even measured a dandelion just to prove a point nobody understood.

Virgil checked his garden three times a day.

Walter checked his four times just so Virgil wouldn't win.

By the end of the week neither man could remember what they were growing, but both had detailed height records going back six days.

Then Walter looked over the fence and said,

"Virgil... your grass is twenty-two inches tall."

Virgil looked.

Walter was right.

While both of them had been arguing about vegetables, neither one had mowed.

So now the Bigfoot stake serves two purposes:

Measure your garden.

And tell you when your lawn has officially become wildlife habitat.

✔ Garden growth gauge

✔ Lawn mowing gauge

✔ Settles arguments

✔ More accurate than Virgil

✔ Less stubborn than Walter

Available now at Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art on the historic Cedar Street Bridge.

Because sometimes you need to know how fast your tomatoes are growing...

And sometimes you need proof that it's time to mow.

🌱 Garlic Update! 🌱

There’s something satisfying about walking through the garden and seeing those first green shoots reaching for the sky. These garlic plants may not look like much yet, but if you’ve ever grown a garden, you know they’re quietly hard at work beneath the soil.

That’s a lot like life sometimes. The biggest growth often happens where nobody can see it.

We love simple things around here—fresh air, dirt under our boots, and the satisfaction of watching something grow from a tiny clove into a harvest worth sharing.

And if you'd like to keep your garden organized while adding a little rustic charm, our metal garden stakes are a great way to mark what’s growing where.

🌱 Garden Marker Stakes • $25 each
• Buy 5 or more for just $20 each
• Special orders available for your favorite vegetables, herbs, flowers, or custom ideas

Whether you're marking garlic, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, or a whole backyard garden, we'd be happy to make something just for you.

What are you growing this year? Garlic, tomatoes, flowers, or maybe just a little patience? 😊

🚨 HIGHLAND COW INCIDENT REPORT 🚨

Well, it happened again.

Last Tuesday, Delbert "Trail Cam" Wilkins came storming into Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art on the Historic Cedar Street Bridge claiming he'd finally captured proof of a rare North Idaho mountain buffalo.

Now before anyone gets too excited, Delbert's previous wildlife discoveries include:
• A mailbox he swore was a bear.
• Aunt Maybelle's clothesline that he reported as Bigfoot.
• And a stump he watched for three hours because he thought it was moving.

So naturally, we were skeptical.

Delbert slapped a blurry photo on the counter and declared, "There he is! Big as a school bus! Hair hanging over his eyes! Horns wider than my pickup!"

After examining the evidence for nearly thirty seconds, Marty "Coke-Bottle" Madsen adjusted his glasses and said, "Delbert... that's a Highland cow."

Delbert wasn't convinced.

"Then explain why he's staring at me."

Turns out the cow wasn't staring at him. Delbert was standing in front of a mirror.

To help prevent future incidents, we've started making Highland Cow metal art.

That way when Delbert spots one on your fence, he'll know exactly what he's looking at.
..probably.

Available now at Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art.

Disclaimer: No mountain buffalo were discovered during this investigation. Delbert is appealing the findings.

🚨 OFFICIAL NORTH IDAHO ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

At first it was just one Squatch stake.

Then another one showed up in somebody’s flower bed.

Then folks started reporting sightings near tomato plants, fence lines, lilac bushes, and garden sheds all over town.

That’s when we realized…

This situation was bigger than all of us.

Due to the overwhelming increase in Squatch Stakes appearing across North Idaho… Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art has officially established the:

SQUATCH RESPONSE TEAM 👣🌲😂

Their mission:
• Monitor suspicious garden activity
• Investigate rustling noises after dark
• Protect tomatoes from “unauthorized harvesting”
• And determine why Delbert “Trail Cam” Wilkins keeps claiming he hears Sasquatch breathing near the zucchini section at Super 1.

Deputy Ron “Almost Saw It” Barlow says the situation is “concerning.”

Aunt Maybelle says:
“The only thing lurking in my garden is Delbert looking for free vegetables.”

And Pastor Caleb quietly suggested maybe everybody should “calm down and quit watching Bigfoot documentaries before bedtime.” 😂

But honestly…
with Squatch Stakes spreading through gardens all over North Idaho…
we figured it was time to organize before things got completely outta hand.

Join the movement.
Support the team.
And keep your eyes on the tree line. 👀🌲

STORY TIME FROM THE GARDEN…

So apparently Bigfoot finally got tired of hiding in the woods and decided to settle down in somebody’s flower bed. 🌿😂

Delbert “Trail Cam” Wilkins came running into the Historic Cedar Street Bridge this morning carrying three blurry photos, half a breakfast burrito, and breathing like he’d just outrun a grizzly.

He points at this rusty little fella and hollers:
“I KNEW IT! THEY’RE MOVING CLOSER TO TOWN!”

Aunt Maybelle looked over her glasses and said,
“Delbert… that’s garden decor.”

Delbert shook his head real serious and whispered,
“That’s exactly what THEY want us to think.”

Now every customer walking by has been side-eyeing the petunias just a little harder than normal. One lady even claimed her tomatoes disappeared overnight and blamed Sasquatch immediately.

Honestly… we’re not saying this metal garden lurker is REAL…

…but if your zucchini starts vanishing and you hear heavy footsteps near the compost pile after dark… don’t say we didn’t warn ya. 👣🌱😂

Come see the North Idaho garden creatures at Goff Family CNC Metalworks & Art on the Historic Cedar Street Bridge in downtown Sandpoint!

Today, on Memorial Day, the Goff family wants to pause and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for this country. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to live free, raise our families, work hard, worship freely, and enjoy the blessings of this great nation.

As we work tonight, we do so with grateful hearts, knowing freedom was paid for by heroes who never made it home. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a reminder that liberty came at a very high cost.

We are deeply thankful for all who have served, and especially for those who laid down their lives for others. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for this country will never be forgotten.

From our family to yours, thank you to our military families, veterans, and the fallen heroes we remember today. God bless you, and God bless America
