doing morning chores this morning to find that sunny did pass sometime last night☹️ I will be taking extra measures with the rest of the flock.

we also lost a teenager quail from hatch #2 for some reason (who was healthy yesterday)

hatch #1’s females were integrated into the big flock 2 days ago & they are doing great! all the Roos will join the bachelor flock once hatch #2 is big enough(then they will be butchered with the meat birds in October).

Chicken question❓

I discovered my poor sunny this morning, wings droopy, all feathers puffed up, skinny, & very sad looking honestly. What can I do? I currently have her separated with food, vitamins in water, & quiet place to rest.
