Dear GSJ Friends, regarding the weather forecast, my grandmother would say, "Goodness gracious!" This week, high temperatures will only be in the 'teens with ridiculous wind chill, and double-digit snowfall is possible, so the store will be closed today Jan. 22 thru Jan. 25. Dear GSJ Friends, what a disappointing way to start the new year. GingerSnap will be closed Thursday, January 1, 2026, because 1) the high is predicted to be only 16 degrees, 2) it's been snowing off and on for days, and 3) the main highway here (Rte. 173) is snow covered and possibly slippery. Friday's forecast is ever so much better so stop in on Friday, Jan. 2 for 50% off Christmas items.

Dear GSJ Friends, the weather outside is frightful! In Mercer and Venango counties, Sunday's, December 14, high temperature will be 15 degrees with heavy lake effect snow accumulating 4-6 inches all day Sunday until 7am Monday.
