In 2006, owners Jim and Susan Victor and Sue Shannon opened the flagship location in downtown Aiken, South Carolina with a belief that beautiful design and real life can coexist under one roof. Their “real life, real style” motto simplifies the philosophy that kids, dogs, parties and life do happen and no one needs to skimp on glamorous living because of them. In 2010, Nandina launched their second location in Atlanta, which has since relocated to Sandy Springs, Georgia. The most recent location, opened at the end of 2020 is located in vibrant downtown Greenville, South Carolina. All three Nandina Home & Design lifestyle showrooms are a vehicle for clients to experience interior design in a whole new way. Equestrian style is part of our heritage. With Nandina’s headquarters rooted in Aiken, South Carolina, the equestrian world has always been close to home.

The best rooms rarely rely on just one shape.
Here, the arched doorway softens the transition from one room to the next, creating a natural sense of movement and drawing your eye through the home. Its curves are echoed in the chandeliers and mirror, while the clean lines of the cabinetry, trim, and artwork bring structure.
It’s this balance of softness and structure that makes the entire passage feel thoughtful, layered, and beautifully connected.

Exterior goals, from every angle. ✨

The best homes come together when architecture and interior design are working hand in hand. We loved collaborating with architect Nick Dickinson, CEO of Dickinson Architects, whose vision set the foundation for this home’s clean lines, thoughtful proportions, and modern character.

Same room. Completely different purpose.

This small space just outside the primary bedroom once functioned more like an afterthought. Now, it’s a jewel box cigar bar and TV room—proof that even the smallest spaces can have a big point of view.

Graphic drapery, layered pillows, soft upholstery, and bold wallpaper give the room depth, warmth, and personality without overwhelming its footprint.

A little function, a lot of character, and no space left forgotten.

Good design starts long before the furnishings.

In this home, the architecture does so much of the storytelling. From the unique window lines to the soaring ceilings and abundance of natural light, every exterior decision helped shape the feeling inside.

The result is a home that feels custom in every sense—where the interiors don’t compete with the architecture, they build on it.
