Well, after more than a year and a half of being locked out of my business account, I was quite surprised to find myself with access again today! And with that, it feels like the right time to officially close this chapter of floristry and design.
So much life has happened since I first opened my doors, and I have made the difficult—but incredibly peaceful—decision to step away from the hustle of running a wedding business and pour my time and energy into staying home with our beautiful baby boy, whom we welcomed into our family through the blessing of adoption nine wonderful months ago 🤍
To the incredible couples who trusted me to flower their weddings, the amazing customers who walked through my storefront doors or called to place an order, and the phenomenal wedding professionals who invited me to work alongside them—thank you. Truly.
It was such a wonderful experience stepping out of the military and into the wedding industry. I learned so much, met some of the most wonderful people, created beautiful things, and got to be part of so many incredibly special moments. I will always be grateful for the years I spent doing something I loved.
But now, I have the sweetest opportunity of all: to slow down, be present, and fulfill a dream I’ve had for years—to be a stay-at-home mama to our son. And while closing this business is bittersweet, I know this is exactly where I’m meant to be in this season of life. 🥹
If you’d like to keep up with our little family, you can follow along on my personal account on instagram, . And if you’d like to follow along with my newest little adventure on FB/IG, Sam’s Sourdough , we’d love to have you there! I’m baking sourdough to help us chip away at the adoption debt we took on to bring our sweet boy home 🤍
Thank you for being part of this chapter with me. I’ll forever be grateful for every order, every wedding, every friendship, and every person who supported this little business along the way.
With so much love,
Aubrey
