A few photos of a 14’ figured redwood boardroom table for Fuse Architects + Builders it sits on two sawmill finish charred redwood blocks, and using steel I-beam, cantilevers out over 8’. The crew at Fuse ledgered it into the wall, creating an incredibly strong table that you could stand on the end of. Always a pleasure to build pieces for the Fuse offices.

Latest coffee table. Stunning Claro walnut figure in this one, with mortised legs. One leg is parallel with the crotch end of the table, while the other is skewed to match the angled left from the original chainsaw cut. Left a little chainsaw miss-cut on that end as well, just as a reminder to us this wood doesn’t just appear from nowhere, but through great lengths is sourced and salvaged from arborists. I’d also be lying if I didn’t take great inspiration from the legendary Nakashima Conoid table.

King size bed in California Claro Walnut, with XL grain matched drawers on all sides, soft close hardware, brass pulls, & brass bow ties.
The shop was extremely busy for a bit there, so I tasked my good friend to help execute this build, Couldn’t have asked for anyone to do a better job!

Just a small glance in the culmination of 2.5 years of work and planning. Staged photos to come of this 11’x52”x3” thick door. Thanks to all the great other trades involved in this project, and friends who lent a hand along the way.
