When I’m not feeling especially motivated, as in I don’t want to work on my jewelry box project, I’ll just paint something. I love adding line drawing to my watercolor. Takes away having to be picture perfect with the painting. Inspo from good old Pinterest.

My shelf spaces are all set up at Alvin’s Uptown Crafts, collectibles & Antiques! Thanks seester Nedette Devries for helping and for snapping some photos. I also have my wall space where you’ll find my vintage whimsy bags and vintage windows. Many vendors, including me ( #5458)will be having sales this weekend for the Labor Day holiday.

Making these vintage whimsy bags is an obsession right now. This is the fun part and takes me a bit of time to get the composition just the way I want it. I choose the quilt piece or the embroidered piece and let that guide all the other bits I choose. I really like the purple yellow combination.
I like to keep at least three at the antique store so I need to finish this one this week!
