Our friends at Real Simple asked for our thoughts on which colors will be big in 2027 and, frankly, we have thoughts. 😉

But what we’re most excited about isn’t necessarily which colors are having a moment, it’s about how color is being used.

Color is being embraced in all its glory, and we’re seeing designers and homeowners have a lot more fun with the application. Painted trim and doors are holding steady, while custom murals, decorative trim work, and hand-painted details are becoming more and more common. And we are VERY here for it!! 👏

A first look at our design coming together for a new project in El Paso, Texas 🤠

We’re creating a richly layered family home that pulls inspiration from the Southwest without the stereotypical motifs.

This is going to be a fun one to follow along! We’re still dreaming up a name for the project — any ideas???💡

We went bold in the kitchen of our Mesa project, using saturated color to create a simple but high-impact statement. A more neutral backsplash grounds the red cabinetry, while a mix of metals across the hardware, plumbing, and lighting adds depth and refinement.

This kitchen carries the soul of the entire project: a country kitchen with refined details that make it feel distinctly personal to our clients. And those views certainly don’t hurt! 🤩

Welcome to our Mesa Project, a beautiful Santa Fe home perched atop a finger mesa just north of the city.

This project embodies our belief that a home should be designed for living freely. Our clients, who have since become friends, brought two distinct perspectives to the process: his style leans more traditional Southwestern, while hers is a little edgier. The result is a home that feels equal parts country retreat and city residence.

Bold color, incredible textiles, hand-painted details and that RED kitchen 😍 Such a special home to help bring to life!
