Pictured is my daughter, Ellie & my significant other, Lou. Although it's pretty much a one woman show here, they often help me when I need it most. It's easy to keep pushing when you know you have all the love & support you need. Not pictured is our mini husky, Leilani. She's part of the family too of course. o. in 2020 -- in the midst of a pandemic. On top of it all, we packed up everything we knew in New Orleans, LA & headed for the sunny West Coast just that July. We initially moved to California to pursue our digital marketing business, Nightfolk Creative. Though, Blow Me has definitely taken over our lives. No complaints here! How did I get into candle making though? About a year or two ago, I purchased my first hand made candle at a vet clinic. When I tell you I was floored with not only the scent but how long they lasted, how cleaned it burned & how long the scent lingered in my room. I mean — it was practically *crapping* on any corporate candle I ever bought. As a bonus, I knew I was supporting someone's small business. There was no turning back. It was then and there that I converted to a ‘hand made candle-er’. I've always loved making things for people; whether that be through cooking a tasty meal, putting together a cute care package or simply going out of my way to make someone I care about smile. This allows me to do that. I absolutely love hand making each and every candle. Every time I send off a package, it feels like I'm shipping off a present & I can't wait for that person to open it up to smell what's inside. No matter how busy I get, I never want to lose that personal touch because you deserve this. Welcome to Blow Me Candle Co.
