In 2003, H & M Event Rentals opened in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The small rental company had owners Chuck Hinson and Jeff McDowell believing that they would just do a few small events a month. Little did they know that the business would grow very quickly and would soon begin to consume their lives. In turn, it incited their passions for the wedding and event rental industry. In just a few years, the
small rental company has grown into a vibrant business that supplies rentals and décor for more than 300 weddings, corporate events, private dinner parties and charitable fundraisers, annually. Over the past decade, H & M has strived to become the premier rental company on the Florida Emerald Coast. In 2013, they began spreading their wings and venturing into Southern Alabama to a community that had an increasing demand for higher end rentals and décor. With each passing year, Hinson and McDowell learn more and more about the ever expanding merchandise and rental inventory that H & M offers. It is one that is easily compared to those in the larger markets, but still as a small business, always remembers the clients that have remained with them from the beginning. Setting their roots in south Walton County, FL, they have been privileged to work with some of the top caterers, wedding planners, florists, directors, and promoters in the South. With their relationships with these businesses, H & M Event Rentals has become a leader in offering their clients the latest and newest merchandise that has been made available to the industry.
