When I taught in Spain this past March at the International Quilt Festival in Sitges, Spain, I met Katy Bessarabova who is a Russian quilter. She came through my solo exhibition at the show.

She asked me if I would be willing to do a brief interview with her, via zoom, to a group of Russian speaking quilters from all over the world.

They represent an online school “Igra v Cvet” (it means “Playing with Colour” in Russian) http://igravcvet.ru. Their various online workshops and courses attract more than 300 Russian speaking quilters spread across Russia and European countries.

We did the interview this past May, here is a link on YouTube to the interview if you are interested.
I wish they had sent me a list of questions so that I had been better prepared, but it is a nice interview. Enjoy.

Rejection is hard. But it is part of life. I entered three quilts into QuiltCon and got three rejections. It is disappointing but not devastating. Congrats to all that got accepted. Good for you, YOU ROCK!!!!
