This herb is packed with vitamins A, C, and K, and has been used for centuries to support digestion and freshen breath naturally. ✨ Whether you sprinkle it over pasta, blend it into chimichurri, or toss it in a salad, this little green powerhouse brings brightness and flavor to any dish. 🌱💚

Remember…

Taking time to unwind isn’t selfish.
Running on empty can be exhausting. Recharging is necessary.
Pampering yourself restores your mind and body.
Taking care of yourself, allows you to better care for others.

So, take an afternoon. Make the appointment. Sit in the silence. Embrace your time positivity and joy. Breathe in the calmness.

Who doesn’t love an interactive plant, that’s fun for kids and adults.

This carnivorous plant snaps shut in a fraction of a second to catch insects.

And how does the plant do that? We’re glad you asked!

Each trap has tiny, sensitive hair-like sensors inside, also known as trigger hairs. In order for the trap to close, insect must touch at least two hairs within 20 seconds. This prevents the plant from wasting energy on raindrops or debris. When something tasty comes along, the trap snaps shut in about one-tenth of a second.

Now, what happens to the bug once trapped? The plant secretes juices, which helps dissolve the soft parts of the bug. This happens over a period of 5 to 12 days, and what remains….. only the empty exoskeleton

While I purchased at Hannaford Supermarkets in the northeast, this Little Pot of Horrors will be hitting all Menards stores next week.

Snag one, two or five, and enjoy educating your little ones on plant knowledge, and side of entertainment.

Known for their bright yellow flowers with a dark brown or black center, these daisy-like whimsical blooms are relatively easy to grow, attract pollinators like butterflies and bees, and are drought-tolerant.

If you’re looking for some summer to fall color, a little height (typically 1-3 feet), and a return visit the following year, this perennial checks the boxes.

Whether you plant in your garden for a splash of brightness, cut stems for a bouquet or arrangement, or want to give your birds and wildlife a place to nestle, Black-Eyed Susan provides so many benefits.

With a garden full of color, you’ll be pleased you’re doing your part for the pollinator world! 🐝🦋🌎
