25 gallon 10 foot Palm Trees (biggins) loaded by hand with simple slow leverage. Thankfully, they’ll slide off at the customers house tomorrow morning easier than they went on. Might be able to justify a loader if I get more of this size🤔

Probably one of the more important jobs I’ve been in a while. I helping my good friend Scott rebuild his mother’s kitchen cabinet along with our friend Will.

Started about 8:30 yesterday morning and got done around 6:30 last night.

We replaced the whole bottom of the cabinet along with replacing the faucet and valves .

This was an awnery job but we had a blast.

I picked these Areca palm seedlings up in March of this year. My memory is not so great but I recall about four dozen that I got and I’ve got around three dozen left. Some of these are pushing 2 foot tall so I’m pretty happy with them. I wish I could remember how many I lost and how many I gave away.

Our nursery is pretty messed up considering two hurricanes and some neglect from the day job 😏 I’m trying to get prepared for $pring😎

Splurged & went “ass over tea kettle” last week and got us a much more serious mower. Probably a size too small to order a Cary Thorne custom front end loader😏.

V twin 24hp 50”💪! It’s been a learning curve to get used to it & almost got her hung up mowing our ditch🤣.

Ditched work today and did a “ride along” down south to a Palm tree farm in Homested w/ Jerry Graves. 1 ton Ram w 30 ft goose trailer full💪

Got 3 truck loads of Saw Palmettos. The sizes range from 1 to 7 gallon pots. This is a Florida native that some take for granite. These can get as tall as 7 ft.

They’re very difficult to transplant from the wild. These were raised from seed. I’ll plant a few today.

My backyard nursery is up to almost 200 plants total😎

I’m super excited about my Areca palms! I recently answered a fb marketplace ad to clean up a back yard full of Areca palms in trade for the seedlings😎

I’ve planted 6 or so & potted around 100! I r an out of nursery pots so I gifted what I had left to my neighbor.

These palms cluster and grow relatively quickly up to 20ft . Once mature they produce a lot of seeds to add more palms . I’m planning on planting all of the seedlings that make it in our backyard for added privacy & noise suppression.

Finally started on the last of our fence. I went to my fav Fence supply yard & they quoted me $800 (8ft x100 🤢) w/ out the ornate gate Lorrie wanted😂

2 weeks later I found a fence contractor with extra on hand so he set me up @ $220😎 +25 in stainless fastener’s. Man I love a deal!
