First day back to sewing in several months and my darn seam ripper was needed. I have a love/hate relationship with this very necessary tool.🤣

I haven’t been posting because I had to take some time off. My husband and I both lost our fathers in the past couple of months after lengthy illnesses. It has been a hard season of life. But I’m slowly easing back in. I hope you will be patient with me. I’m actually working on a new design. It’s hard to be creative when life is heavy. That’s how I can tell I’m coming back around.

It has been a few months since I last posted. I have really been in a creative slump and did not feel like I had anything exciting to share. It has been a tough year for small businesses. Sales have been slow and it really made me wonder if I should continue on. But I’m not a quitter. I feel like I’m still doing what I’m supposed to be doing.

Last week I received a request for a custom order. That spark struck again and the creativity began to flow . I got back into my creative and sewing space. I had seen some very interesting rope from a vendor and decided to invest in new rope.

I’m calling this the confetti collection and hope you enjoy it and it brings you a little spark of joy as it has for me.

The tote bags are among the original items I make. This cotton tote stands 10” tall and shows off that nautical combination of navy and white (actually natural rope). This beauty was requested by a local woman and will go to its new home tomorrow. With care, it has decades of service to provide.😂
