Wednesday, August 5th, we pause to honor the man whose vision, hard work, and unwavering dedication built the foundation of Thoroughbred Carpet.
In 1985, Michael and Jenny Heise started Thoroughbred Carpet with little more than a dream, an incredible work ethic, and a commitment to treating every customer like family. Through years of craftsmanship, integrity, and countless hours of hard work, they built more than a flooring business—they built a reputation and a legacy that continues to serve our community today.
That legacy now lives on through their daughter, Alli, and son, J., who are proud to continue the family business with the same values and commitment their parents established over 40 years ago.
As we gather to celebrate Michael’s life and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind, Thoroughbred Carpet will be closed on Wednesday, August 5th.
We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and loyalty our customers have shown our family throughout the years. Thank you for allowing us the time to honor a husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and the man whose hands and heart helped build Thoroughbred Carpet into what it is today.
His legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of this business, and we will continue to carry it forward with pride.
