A special moment at today’s Savage Area Arts Festival!

My original painting, Dragon in Flight, found its new home with a fellow gamer who collects original artwork. We had a wonderful conversation, and it was a genuine pleasure getting to know him. There’s something especially rewarding about seeing your art go to someone who not only appreciates original artwork but shares some of your own interests.

I’m very happy that Dragon in Flight went home with him today, and I hope it brings him years of enjoyment. Thank you to everyone who stopped by today and supported my art!

Getting ready for my next art fair this season. Going to try to finish another anthropomorphic animal painting before this show happens. Might be a bit ambitious... 😅

Can you believe it? Two weeks from today we'll be celebrating at the Savage Area Arts Festival. Make plans now to visit Community Park in Savage anytime between 10am-5pm on Saturday, October 10th! See the gorgeous works of 70+ artists, try your hand at some family art, have a snack or meal from one of our great food vendors, and enjoy time in our beautiful, creative community. See you there. 🍂🍁

A Matter of Taste
Acrylic on Canvas • 2026

A quiet afternoon, a good book, and a perfectly steeped cup of tea. This distinguished fox seems quite at home in his study, surrounded by the things he treasures most.... stories, reflection, and perhaps just a little refinement.

A Matter of Taste is a playful portrait of the simple pleasures of slowing down and enjoying the moment.

Intensity
Acrylic on Canvas • 2026

With an unwavering gaze and a presence that commands attention, the tiger embodies the raw power and focus of the wild. There is no movement in this moment, yet everything about the animal suggests strength held in reserve. Intensity captures the quiet force of a predator at rest. A reminder that power does not always need to roar to be felt.

There is something very satisfying about preparing the wood for the frames of my paintings.
