I want to share something a little different with y’all today.
One of the biggest reasons I built ResilScents was because I know what it feels like to be rebuilding, creating, healing, and trying to turn something meaningful into something real. Mental health, purpose, and having something to pour your heart into matter more than most people realize.
That’s why I’m excited to help introduce **Black Tooth Grinders**, a handmade resin brand created by **Paul and Melissa Kocina**.
Their pieces are handmade resin trays, grinders, ash trays, coasters, storage containers, and matching sets — but they’re more than just products. They’re pieces of functional art, made by people who genuinely love what they’re creating.
Paul is a disabled Marine veteran and double-leg amputee, but what stands out most about him is not what he has been through — it’s his humility, his creativity, and the way he wants people to love the art for the art. He has made it clear that he does not want his story used as a selling point. He simply loves making these pieces, and that deserves respect.
Melissa is right there in the process too, helping bring these handmade creations to life with color, detail, and personality. Together, they are building something from the heart.
As someone who understands how much purpose can help with mental health, I wanted to use my platform to help them get seen, heard, and supported.
We now have Black Tooth Grinders pieces available in store at **Variety R Us**, including handmade trays, grinders, ash trays, coasters, storage pieces, and matching sets.
The large trays are designed to fit over a steering wheel **for parked use only**, but they can also be used as lap trays, organizer trays, snack trays, craft trays, display trays, or rolling trays.
Now we want your help.
