Spathiphyllum Sensation Variegated and Alocasia odora "California" albo came in yesterday, 2 of each. Sensation is the largest form of Peace Lily and Alocasia odora can become a quite a statement plant as well. Variegation may keep them smaller but these are good size plants, 8" and 6" pots. Sensation is $44 and the Alocasia is $55.

Forcing myself to learn video editing and this was my first attempt. AND, it has become apparent that many do not know exactly where we are located. The Skylark Society|Floral & Plant Studio is the only brick & mortar florist east of Thunderbolt but the shop is not visible from the road. We carry beautiful cut flowers, rare houseplants, and a great gifts for yourself or the special people in your life. Come visit!

A simple and sunny arrangement for a July 4th host gift. Comprised of local Sunflowers, Marigolds, Scabiosa and Queen Anne's from WilMor Farms and a few Craspedia and Blue Thistle. We are closed for the 4th but will be open on Sunday 10-4. Happy July 4th from The Skylark Society!

Ace Berry, a former oil field worker, has become a prominent voice is the florist community. Take a listen and consider getting the men in your life flowers sometime. Plants (and their flowers) are some of the toughest organisms on the planet. They sprout and spend their entire life in one place - they can't run away from any threat, so they either survive or die. The misconception that flowers are not masculine is ridiculous. Assuming they are feminine is not the insult some think it is given the amount of crap women put up their entire lives. As Ace mentioned, the first time most men get flowers is at their funerals. That's just sad. So ladies, do something different for your husband, fathers or male friends, and, you know what MEN, get some flowers for
your dad or your broskies. You can do it!
