Vintage clothing, furniture, collectibles, glass wear, crafts and floral arrangements are just a few of the great items located at Mona's. As a collector, junker and a crafter I always had a dream of having my own anitque store. After building a new home I was able to make that dream a reality by turning my "old" house into my store. Hence the name Mona's Old House Antiques. Over the last few year

s I have filled the store with antiques, floral arrangements, crafts and hand made goods. I also make jewelry out of vintage silverware. I open the store every spring and close for the winter to allow time to enjoy the holidays with friends and family. I am open every Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, but have been known to open the store in the middle of the week when I am there to work on projects. If you need a special day or time please call 816-324-5254 to make arrangements, I am more than happy to open.

It’s Andrew Co Fair weekend. Sorry I will be closed to attend the festivities in Savannah. Parade, car show, live music and food and friends. What more could you ask for. Oh yeah… a rodeo too! Hope to see you at the fair and catch you next week at the shop.

Hope this works...I'm not tech smart but I think I can use this to send text messages to let you know that the shop will be open Saturday from 9-4 . But I don't know how to get my emails to come up. Any suggestions? I really don't understand what Apples have to do with any of this...why not bananas?

Sorry the shop is closed today also. Granddaughter’s college graduation is today. Can’t miss that! Hopefully next Saturday will be better. Call me if you want to set up an appointment to visit.

I know that you have probably been wondering about my shop not being open as yet so I just wanted to let you know what is going on. My husband just had knee replacement surgery and I am sticking close for a few days. Before this happened I have been helping my brother build kitchen cabinets. It has been a busy spring but I will be getting back to normal soon. In the meantime, if you are in the area and want to come by, please call and we will see if we can schedule a time.
