I fell in love with Savannah while attending SCAD and acquiring a degree in metals and jewelry. However after graduating I moved back to my hometown of Louisville, KY and found my love for floral design. I started my career and decided to bring my talents back to the city I love. I have 17 years of floral design experience, coordinating and creating florals for a wide range of events and weddings; featured in louisvillebelles.com, stylemepretty.com and Louisville Magazine Bridal.

It’s mid March and that means spring wedding season is in full swing! I am so excited for my spring couples I can hardly stand it. Granted, I have been a little MIA here but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy preparing with my couples for their big day. And I’ll be the first to admit when life gets hectic and throws you some curve balls I tend to not post as much as maybe I should. Sometimes juggling personal/family life and a business can be a lot. Family, self and my spring couples have been my priority for the last few months. With many hours spent, planning, preparing and being on the computer I am thrilled when the time comes to be surrounded by flowers. So let all the designing begin and here’s to a great wedding season!!

To say the last 4 months has been a whirlwind is an understatement. Yes I know I have been MIA on social media. Managing a small business solo is a lot during peak season. And let’s be honest, I made a decision to grow my fur baby family and rescue a pup in the middle of the busiest time of year. So managing everything in life solo is a lot. But like everything it does take a village. I am so blessed with the vendors that have become friends and the friends that have become family. I thank you for being by my side every step of the way. And lastly, I can’t thank all my couples enough who trusted me over the last year to bring their floral dreams to life on their special day. You are my why and the reason I love what I do. I hope everyone had a beautiful and magical holiday season. I sure did!

And just like that we are in full swing of wedding season! And I couldn't be more excited for my couples getting married this season. I spent some time off social media the last couple months taking time to visit family, squeeze in a couple vacations and work on some projects. July and August are never entirely work free with continual emails, proposals, bookings and fall wedding season preparations but I do try to take the slower months to have more "me" time. And it never seems long enough but I couldn't be more excited to be designing weddings through the rest of the year!

Bringing Michelle’s vision to life was the best. And vendor shout out because it took us all coming together with all the details for Michelle and Drew’s big day! From the bamboo chairs, beautiful printed linens, place settings with sawgrass fans and praline favors, chinoiserie vessels and last but not least to flowers adding a tropical flair with phalaenopsis orchids and robellini palm.
