✨️I was drawn to Jacob Dooyewaard’s, Interior because it doesn’t just show a scene, it captures a secluded, serene atmosphere that feels like a quiet sanctuary. A much-needed pause for today.
The painting invites the viewer to breathe, reflecting on the stillness.
As a floral artist I see an irresistible creative spark and a welcomed challenge translating Dooyewaard’s rugged broad brushstrokes and his grinding colors. Amidst the broad shapes, I have tucked in fine, delicate petals and textures. Emphasizing bold, minimalist lines and grouped textures.
This design isn’t about being loud, it is about being still. By using soft transitions and opens space, the arrangement breathes, much like Dooyewaard’s, Interior.✨️
