Another big SoPo update ✨

The new back door is officially in, and it completely changed the feel of the space with all the added natural light pouring into the kitchen.

We’re wrapping up the crown details, final touch-ups, and all those finishing pieces that bring everything together. One of our favorite additions is the extra storage built next to the original chimney we exposed — blending function with the character of the home.

And the chandelier over the nook table might be the finishing touch we didn’t know we needed. The way it catches the morning light is just beautiful.

Looking forward to the punch walkthrough next week and getting ready for the final reveal. 📸

Sometimes the biggest transformation is how a space feels.

By placing the beam into the ceiling, this Scarborough kitchen now flows effortlessly into the dining and living room — creating a brighter, more open space designed for gathering. The natural stone, warm textures, and lighter palette make the entire home feel inviting and connected.

SoPo project is in the home stretch ✨

The custom trim is being stained to perfectly match the home’s existing woodwork — one of those subtle details that makes the renovation feel seamless and original to the house.

The island pendants are up and add such a fun layer to the space, especially paired with the warmth of the butcher block and copper hood.

Next week the new back door with lites goes in to add more natural light to the space, and that should bring us right to the finish line. Excited to share the final reveal soon. 📸

SoPo update ✨

The hood is installed and we’re loving the warmth of the copper against the green cabinetry — one of those combinations that feels both timeless and bold at the same time.

The butcher block island top is now in place, bringing even more texture and warmth to the space, while the custom-milled trim designed to match the home’s original details is starting to go in. Those finishing touches make all the difference in creating a kitchen that feels like it truly belongs in the home.
