Korek’s designs blend classic and modern styles with a touch of whimsy, and take inspiration directly from the individual needs of each client. Her vision updates the elegant and cozy elements of traditional design by infusing them with crisp, clean lines and the luster of contemporary finishes. Employing a palette that ranges from subtle to vibrant, her compelling use of color warms and enhances
every project. She has completed major residential and commercial projects in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Westchester County, where she works collaboratively with clients to provide custom levels of service and advice at all stages of the design process. Through Jolie Korek Interiors, clients have access to leading design resources and materials, as well as skilled and experienced craftsmen. In addition, Korek works with realtors and sellers to stage homes for the housing market. Korek has been an independent design professional for almost 20 years, and is an affiliate member of ASID. She has received kitchen design awards from Sub-Zero, Miele, and Thermidor. Photographs of her work have appeared in the magazine Great American Kitchens, Kitchen Trends Magazine, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, and Metropolitan Home. In addition, she has participated in the prestigious Holiday House, a decorator showhouse to benefit the Susan G. She holds an associates degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design.
