Weaving on grids these days

05/23/2026

Hi, I’m Courtney, a fiber artist based in Illinois.
If you’re new here, welcome 🤍

I’m starting to share more of the creative process behind my work — from making and experimenting, to finished pieces, studio moments, and behind-the-scenes snippets along the way. I want this space to feel open, honest, and connected as I continue growing as an artist.

My hope is to connect with people who truly appreciate handmade fiber art, texture, and thoughtful design. If that sounds like you, I’d love for you to follow along and be part of this journey as I create, learn, and evolve day by day.

So excited to begin this new chapter with you!!

I’ll forever be jealous of people who have natural light, open walls, and access to good photography for photos. Every wall in my house is either in terrible lighting or has something hung up on it that can’t be taken down so I’m constantly having to get creative with where I take pictures of weavings.

So I give you the “deck/grass weaving!”

This piece is inspired by all the quilters I follow and it features a large portion of my even larger collection of corespun yarn.

This piece has been done and hanging up in my studio for probably two years and I finally listed it on my website. It’s available now!
