Good Monday Morning, Finders 🌿

A gentle reminder from the garden this morning…

Beauty and purpose often grow side by side.

This lovely Camelot Lavender foxglove catches the eye with its stunning blooms, while the rue growing nearby quietly supports Black Swallowtail butterflies as a host plant.

Not everything in the garden is planted just for us. Some of it is planted for the bees, the butterflies, and the hummingbirds that share this little corner of the world.

Wishing you a beautiful Monday filled with simple joys. Let me know; what style is your dream garden?

Good Sunday morning, finders 🌸

My columbine is blooming again—soft, a little wild, and completely unconcerned with being perfect. It just shows up, does its thing, and somehow feels like a reminder that not everything needs effort to be beautiful.

So tell me… what’s blooming in your garden right now that surprised you? 🌿

Good Saturday morning, finders 🤍

A soft drizzle this morning feels just right for everything new in the garden. My Camelot Rose foxglove is just starting to bloom, tucked in with deep May Night salvia, all against that weathered cedar fence that just seems to make those colors glow a little more.

Yesterday I tucked in hundreds of new Cosmo and Zinnia seeds, so now comes the fun part… waiting and watching to see what decides to show up and where 🌿 I’ll keep you posted as things start to pop. I’m very excited to see how everything turns out. I ordered some very cool varieties of seeds.

Wishing you a slow, beautiful Saturday—whatever you’re up to today. Tell me, what are you excited about this Saturday???⬇️

Good morning, Finders ☀️

These flowers start out yellow… and slowly turn pink as they grow 🌸

Maybe that’s your reminder today that changing doesn’t mean losing who you are. Sometimes it means becoming even more beautiful.

What’s blooming in your garden right now? 🌿👇

🐾Help keep Nipper watching over Albany🐾

There are some things in the Capital Region that just feel like home… and Nipper is one of them. 🐾

Like so many of you, my heart sank hearing the news that the building beneath Albany’s iconic Nipper has now been deemed dangerous and could be at risk of destruction or demolition.

For generations, Nipper has watched over our skyline — a symbol of music, memories, history, and home. I knew I wanted to create something special that would not only honor him, but help support preservation efforts too.

I’m incredibly excited to officially introduce the limited first pour of my SAVE NIPPER candle collection — created in collaboration with Paul from . ❤️

Each candle is hand poured in small batches using 100% organic soy wax in a reusable glass keepsake vessel with a natural wood lid. As always, my candles are clean burning, phthalate and paraben free, made with cotton wicks, and proudly made in the USA using high quality ingredients from small businesses.

Most importantly, a portion of proceeds from EVERY candle sold will be donated to Historic Albany Foundation to support preservation efforts connected to the Nipper building.

Current scent lineup:
🐾 Upstate Glow — inspired by the beauty of Upstate New York trails with warm amber, soft woods, glowing citrus, and comforting vanilla

🐾 Electric City Vanilla — a rich nostalgic vanilla inspired by Schenectady bakeries with creamy sweetness, warm sugar, and cozy bakery notes

🐾 Unscented — perfect for sensitive homes while still owning a commemorative keepsake

These are part of a limited first pour collection and quantities are extremely limited.

The response already has been overwhelming in the best possible way, and I truly believe these candles are going to mean something special to people throughout the Capital Region.

If you’d like to reserve one from the first pour collection, please send me a direct message to secure yours today. ❤️

Happy Wednesday, Finders! 🌿✨

This morning I’m sharing what I believe is an Accent Iris, and honestly… I can’t remember ever seeing this particular beauty bloom in my garden before! Isn’t it amazing how gardens still surprise us after all these years? 💛

I seriously contemplated removing my iris patch this spring because it just wasn’t giving me that spark anymore… but after watching the different varieties put on such a beautiful show these last couple of weeks, I’ve completely changed my mind. My purple bearded irises are beginning to fade, and now this stunning new bloom decided to make its appearance right on cue. And the white irises haven’t even bloomed yet, so this little garden patch still has more magic to give. 🌸

That’s one of the things I love most about gardening — just when you think an area is finished or uninspiring, nature reminds you to be patient. 💚

Do you have a flower or plant in your garden that surprised you this year? I’d love to hear about it below! ⬇️

Happy Tuesday, finders! ☀️

I hope everyone had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend and got a little time to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the start of summer.

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite planters from the garden this season—my take on a red, white, and blue patriotic mix using calibrachoa. 🇺🇸✨ I’ve been leaning into this look throughout the garden this year and I have to say… it’s such a cheerful little nod to summer traditions without feeling overdone. Just simple, bright, and full of life.

And I’ve got to say… this week is shaping up to be an exciting one. I’ve got an important announcement coming soon, so stay tuned. 👀

I’d love to know—are you doing any patriotic colors in your gardens or porch pots this year, or do you stick more with classic summer blooms?

Good Morning Finders 🇺🇸

Today, as my azaleas bloom beneath the America 250 flag, I’m reminded that Memorial Day is about so much more than the unofficial start of summer.

It is a day of remembrance… a day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country and the freedoms we often take for granted each day.

One of the traditions of Memorial Day is the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 PM. Wherever you are today, I hope you’ll join me in taking just one quiet minute to pause, reflect, and remember those who never made it home. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to enjoy peaceful mornings, blooming gardens, family gatherings, and simple everyday freedoms.

If you have a loved one you are remembering today, feel free to share their name or story below so we can honor them together ❤️

Good Sunday morning, finders 🌿

This year I decided to add a little berry section to the garden! I’m testing out container-friendly varieties in this full sun area to see how they perform before expanding even more next season. Right now I have raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries growing in containers, and I’m honestly so excited to see how they do over the summer. 🍓🫐

My original plan was much bigger, but my body has definitely been reminding me that mowing, digging, and gardening are no joke. I just wasn’t prepared to dig out the lawn for the center section this year, so this is where we’re starting for now — and that’s okay. Gardens are always evolving, changing, and growing over time, just like we do. 🌱

I already know this little area will probably expand next year with more berry varieties and maybe even a few fruit trees added into the mix.

Do any of you grow berries in your garden? I would LOVE to hear what varieties have done well for you and any advice you may have! 💚
