Chocolate Kisses is finally back in stock ! As many have you may have read, a large fire at BASF in Germany has affected the fragrance industry as they are one of the worlds leading suppliers of popular components of fragrance oil formulations. So this has caused lots of companies to reformulate formulas. We were sent a reformulated version of chocolate kisses from one of our manufacturers and hated it. We felt that it smelled nothing like our regular, much loved formulation. So we stopped selling it until we could have it reformulated to smell exactly like our regular version. That is back in stock and ready and smells awesome ! Please note changes in the IFRA, vanillin content, etc.
Starbucks Coffee Type was also reformulated by our manufacturer and we did not care for that one either. So this one is out of stock as we work on that one.
Cola has now been reformulated. This one was not due to the BASF fire, but rather because of the "citrus greening" crop issue. Our original formula contained real essential oil which was, of course affected by the citrus greening issue (and then also a little further by the hurricanes in August). This was why our cola fragrance had been so high in price recently. Well we have now exhausted our previous supply and are switching to the reformulated version and therefore can go back to our old pricing on this one. :) As always with a reformulation, make sure you update your information or formulas with the new IFRA, vanillin contents, etc. Test, test, test !
We have 2 new fragrances coming very soon ! Be on the lookout for those ! (Hint: They are Lush types !)
We are making room for more and more new and exciting fragrances and therefore must say goodbye to some slow sellers. Pineapple Sage, Pink Lilac and Willow, Midsummer Night and Mandarin Peach have now been moved to the clerance section and we will not be restocking these oils. If any of these were your favorites they will still be available via custom order so no worries. If you want to purchase more than one of these oils from the clearance section, please contact me first as our supply is limited.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone again for their patience and understanding when we had to close suddenly last week due to an emergency issue with our son. He is on the mend now and is back home here with us and we will continue to search for answers as to what keeps causing these episodes he has been experiencing. My heart is full and we were so deeply touched by all of your prayers, well wishes and calls and e-mails of support during what was/is a very scary time for us. Please continue to keep our son and our family in your prayers as we race to find an answer for him.
