YOU VOTED. WE LISTENED. 🍒 And that vintage fireplace mantle from That Thrifting Show got one heck of a glow-up. Special thanks and love to our designer besties, Lorna of Lorna Patton and Nicole of Nicole Patton for gifting us the mantle!

The Cherry Fam chose Option 2: Benjamin Moore Rookwood Dark Red + a Calacatta Viola-inspired paint pour—and then we got to work.

Primer. Scuff-X. Paint pour. Then we built a back panel and covered it in antique mirror wallpaper to close in the mantel.

But something was still missing. 👀

So we grabbed leftover ceramic tile from a client bathroom project and created a custom hearth to ground her. A little Dixie Belle Coppery Gilding Wax on those gorgeous appliqués—and FINALLY, she was done.

From forgotten fireplace to one-of-a-kind showpiece with a permanent home in the new Wild Cherry Furniture Showroom.

Good bones deserve another chapter. 🍒

The new Wild Cherry Furniture Showroom is coming together, and apparently I’ve decided I’m incapable of making any final decisions without involving several thousand of my closest internet friends. 😂

Meet our vintage secretary desk. She’s getting a permanent spot in the showroom—but first, she needs her Wild Cherry makeover.

We played. We experimented. We got a little weird. And now we’ve narrowed it down to the finalists.

Yep. THAT fireplace from Freeform and Hulu Show That Thrifting Show purchased at Furniture On Consignment II by Lorna of Lorna Patton and Nicole Patton . 🙌🏻

She survived the competition, and was personally delivered by Lorna and Nicole to us last winter! 🥹🥰

Now she’s getting a permanent spot in the Wild Cherry Furniture Showroom.

But there’s one problem…

I still haven’t decided what the heck to do with her. 😂

Once upon a time… Cherry had this crazy idea for a penny table. 🍒💡✨

One moment of creative insanity, 2,196 pennies, a whole lot of patina, and absolutely no idea where this was going when I started. 😂🥴

I played with pattern, color and placement as I went and just let the design evolve. Is it perfectly perfect? Nope. And honestly, that’s my favorite part.

Sometimes you just have to follow the crazy and see where it takes you. 😏

2,196 pennies later… was the insanity worth it? 🪙🔥

!!! We got BIG news for you! 🍒

Wild Cherry Furniture ☠️🍒🤙🏻officially has a home.

We’ve transformed the front of our Scotch Plains studio into the Wild Cherry Furniture Showroom—a place where you can finally come in, touch it, see it and experience everything we do.

Cabinet door styles. Wood finishes. Textures. Paint pours. Upholstery. Custom furniture. And, of course, all the weird and wonderful s**t we dream up along the way.

Because sometimes you need to see it in person to understand what’s possible.

This isn’t a traditional furniture store. It’s a place to get inspired, explore the possibilities and start dreaming about what we can create together.

And this is just the beginning.

Follow along, because we’re planning a BIG weekend extravaganza for early December to officially celebrate—and trust me, you’re gonna want to be here.

It started with one paint pour. 🎨🍒

My first was 6.4.22. More than 40 paint pour projects later, I'm still obsessed—because no two are EVER the same.

This dining table for our Scotch Plains clients was no exception. One-of-a-kind, completely unpredictable and basically functional art. 😍

And a big shoutout to our paint partners Central Paint & Hardware in Cranford and our girl Cindy Jack Wiard, their paint expert who always gets us exactly what we need for whatever crazy idea comes next. ❤️

40+ pours later…and the reveal never gets old. 🍒

A real-life Brady Bunch needed a home for their brand-new chapter. 👸👸👸🤴🤴🤴👩‍❤️‍👨

Three girls. Three boys. Two kitty cats. 😻😻Two families becoming one—and they needed enough seating to get all the butts in seats. 😂

For this Mountainside makeover, we transformed the foyer, dining room, family room + study to create spaces to gather, entertain, play games and just be together.

It all started with one gorgeous floral wallpaper in the foyer—and our Blended Transitional design grew from there.

Custom built-ins. Vintage + thrifted finds. New furniture. Collected pieces. And LOTS of personality.
