This might be a good time to begin raising your own worms so you'll be ready to be more self-sufficient and productive next growing season. Our workshops will take you through all the steps to raise the worms, harvest their castings, make the worm tea, and apply it to your soil. For those who enjoy self-sufficiency this would be the route to take.

Merriam-Webster defines jack-of-all-trades as “a person who has many skills; a person who can do many different jobs.”

It isn't only about the incredibly beautiful and productive results that you can achieve in your garden or on your farm when you use organic, natural, locally-produced soil-builders rather than chemical formulations that cost us -- and the planet -- plenty when they are produced, shipped, and used in the field.

Nitrogen from fertilizers and manures washed off farmland costs Americans $157 billion a year in damages to human health and the environment.

http://wildramp.org/ We had a great visit at The Wild Ramp (Huntington, WV) today! This is a beautiful farmers market store that keeps regular hours to allow you to buy local produce, meats, and other products that are produced by your friends and neighbors. I love the concept and the ex*****on of the principle that local producers and local consumers need to come together in our communities in every good way that we can make that happen. I want to explore making Earthy Goods Worm Tea available at The Wild Ramp. Check it out!
