For almost 35 years, and my various crew members and I have completed over 12,000 projects all over Arizona, throughout the US, as well as several projects in other countries.
We don’t follow trends, fads or what is the newest “thing” for your walls.
20-30% of our workload is repairing other contractors work….where someone sold the client on a look and didn’t tell them that there’s a really big chance that you can’t repair it… I have literally gone into hundreds upon hundreds of homes that have various plasters , lime washes, and glazes, or whatever else someone did , then in a week or a month or so later there’s a settling crack in the wall, nail pops here and there, or just nicks and scuffs from normal everyday living .
I tell people it would be like selling you an exotic car for half off… Or even full price for that matter ,and then telling you that you can’t give the car a tuneup, change or rotate the tires, or even fill it full of gas… After a short time, your car is worthless… So why would anybody want walls in their home that if they get damaged, you can almost not repair them… I’m not gonna say 100% unrepairable, because we have spent over three decades doing it, but it seemed for whatever reason, these other subs aren’t going back and doing it. I don’t know if it’s because it’s almost impossible to do… Or there’s no money to be made in repairing them. Somebody goes into a 10,000 square-foot house and spends six figures doing the walls. Well they’re not gonna wanna come back for a few hundred bucks to repair them … So that’s where we come in and yes, we do fix all these finishes and with paint. So me as a homeowner, I would much rather do it for a fraction of the cost and as long as I live in that home, I know the person that did the walls will come back and repair them…. so that my walls stay pristine , up until until I move..
We recently did an entire home in Whisper Rock that was done 26 years ago with a builder that I have done hundreds of projects for over the years…
