Janet Brooks, ASID is the senior designer in this small, high-end interior design firm. We specialize in new build homes and large remodels. We prefer to work with a well qualified AIA architect on each project, and we present our interior elevations and floor plans in CAD drawings. We are with our clients each step of the way, from design inception, through construction and move-in. We take great care of our clients, and great pride in our work.

Bedroom views don't get much better than this. 🏔️✨
For this full-scale Estancia remodel in North Scottsdale, we let the surrounding Pinnacle Peak boulders guide our interior design.

Our approach was intentional: preserve the unique architectural soul of the original 1990s home, while opening up the layout to frame the incredible desert landscape. The final result is a beautiful blend of nostalgic character and contemporary luxury.

Dining Rooms – not necessarily the most used space in our homes. But a crafted dinner with friends and family should be a beautiful, comfortable event. This room has it all…upholstered walls for softer acoustics, indirect lighting as well as stunning “string of pearls” pendant light, a soaring elegant window to a beautiful view, and comfy chairs to linger in… and it’s not a bad thing that a chilled wine wall just happens to be in the same room, for an easy reach!

Design Tip: When working with high ceilings and neutral palettes, use a statement light fixture to ground the scale. This three-tiered, 20-light chandelier—dripping with hand-blown glass teardrops—adds organic movement to the crisp, classic lines of the wall molding.

Paired with a hand-knotted Nepalese wool rug, an ivory linen bench, custom millwork, glass & steel doors, the space achieves a 'lived-in' luxury that feels both high-end and effortless.

The dual-island layout was a deliberate architectural choice to master the choreography of the room. It creates a space that breathes, allowing for large-scale entertaining where guests can coexist with effortless flow. By diverting the heavy utility to the grand Butler's Pantry (see last slide), we ensured the Presentation Kitchen remains an uninterrupted expression of the home's aesthetic with timeless proportion & sophisticated functionality.
