Wellness at home can be embraced in many ways. Here in this home, a quiet indoor space for massage therapy, tea service, and relaxation was designed on the top floor of the home, apart from the hustle and bustle of the busy lifestyle here on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Devoid of electronics, the design promotes healing with its Ketra lighting system, acrylic massage table and an outdoor fountain whose cascading water is heard throughout the home via the grand center stairwell. It’s important to have a quiet place at home to unwind and to re-center one’s spirit. The less disturbance from outside influences without a/v entertainment is best to give the body a place to unwind and to find inner peace.

This icy media entertainment space sports a chilly vibe, inspired by a collection of iceberg photography we curated for this Vail, CO home. Playing with the dynamic range of the cool blues, we sought to give a transformative experience to the space, making it bold and thought-provoking. A great place to watch movies, sports, and play games, our ice-cave references have made this subterranean space a family favorite for Après-ski relaxation.

This Vail Mountain ski chalet we designed for a client who sold Adirondack-themed mountain home. We conjured a new vibe, cleaner and fresher, yet just as comfortable and colorful. Here in the Living Room, a pair of the finest Anthony Lawrence club chairs and a custom window banquette provide great places to read and relax either by the fire or along the windows looking out at the snowy meadow.

Buried in the snow, this Guest Bedroom is ready for skiers looking ski the back bowls at Vail Ski Resort! Thoughtful touches include photography taken by the family of their travels on skis together which we back-mounted to acrylic and used as art.

We at Pavarini Design dedicate our team to servicing mountain homes in the Northeast and in the West. Beginning a spotlight on this Mountain Home in Vail, Colorado, with the Nor’Easter storm pounding our home-base in NYC, our minds are thinking of the cozy winter retreats we’ve designed such as this one.

We completely wrapped this Family Room with a warm, textured natural wallcovering we had installed in squares on all the walls in ceiling to create an enveloping backdrop. This sumptuous custom sofa by in a stunning ombré velvet by is the perfect spot to cuddle-up and be together as a family.
